Hi, I'm the admin of a new pixel art gallery. I've noticed you have sites which specialize in sprites, and textures, and models... but not tiles. I propose that I hand off what I've already set up to the administration here and the Piwigo gallery I've created becomes the tiles website. There is one big advantage that Piwigo has over the setup VG Resource is now using, and that is its tagging system. Functionally, Piwigo galleries behave similarly to OpenGameArt.org's, only this gallery is using non-free work. Piwigo is easy to use and can cut bandwidth costs considerably compared to the full maps approach used by Spriter's Resource. It will also be much more useful to artists than Spriter's resource now is, because artists can search for specific pixilings of specific things in specific games, something that is not now possible on Spriter's Resource.

The gallery is here: [link removed]. Let me know what you think and if you want to move forward.
Actually, tagging is in our pipeline but even now, our search feature works rather well and allows users to find content without unnecessary clicks. Additionally, the systems we're using were custom written from the ground up to fit our needs exactly so moving to a cookie-cutter platform would definitely be a step backwards. You seem to have a total of 41 tiles collected so even if we ignore all of that, your proposed merger would be fairly one-sided - tSR alone has over 55,000 sheets which already likely include some of what you linked. I don't mean to sound harsh here but I'm not really seeing anything on the site you linked that we aren't currently doing here better so I can only assume this to be an advertising thread and close it on the spot. I've also removed your link as posting purely to advertise is against our term of service.
