PC, I'm done with futzing around with consoles and wont be moving to the "next generation".
I'd much rather say PC

But At this point I prefer Nintendo because Legend of Zelda, Pokemon, Harvest Moon, and Animal Crossing.

Whoops
Who cares just play your games and munch on pizza instead of sucking up to one company.
When I think about console wars, all I can think about is that big spat that happened between Nintendo and Sega years ago. Since Sega is no longer in the console business, the whole concept of a "console war" is ancient history right now. Just play the console you like playing and stop dragging your ideas on which console is better everywhere.

Even though I shouldn't be saying any of that because I am slightly biased on which consoles I like, discussions on which console is better has already become a zombie horse years ago.

Now we have to beat it before it eats our brains.
Is the Xbone even out yet? Like, how am I meant to even have an opinion on who's going to win? I played a PS4 in a shop (had Fifa [wtf] and Knack [pretty pants] playable but no Killzone for some stupid reason) if that counts for anything.

As for me in general: I'm not getting an Xbone because I don't like how Microsoft handled things, sure they 'changed' it all now but it still doesn't sit well with me and I've never really been a fan of Microsoft's exclusives (minus Cave's shmups - because you know the most Japanese games are on the system no one in Japan likes...). As for Nintendo, honestly, I just don't care about them anymore. I'm sick of a Zelda that is stuck in the past, a Metroid I don't recognise and as nice as Mario is I'm not buying a console for it. They make great games, but just not the games I want to play anymore.

So by default I'll be picking up a PS4 at some point (that point being when MGS V comes out).
The Console wars kind of came out of the late and mid 90's culture!
That was a time when the hardware between consoles was actually like apples and oranges compared to eachother, but as technology became more homogenized, especially computer graphics tech! they kind of ended
I want Nintendo and the Wii U to do really well. The Wii U the only one I, as of this point, truly consider next gen. The problem is that too many people have this delusion that "Next Gen" is better graphics and more processing power. While that's part of it, the biggest part of Next Gen is new ways to play and experience games, something overall lacking from the Xbox One and PS4 which are basically small upgrades since they realized they've pretty much plateaued on new experiences & hardware with the Xbox 360 and PS3. There's barely anything new in either one of them and like the Wii, Nintendo is the only one trying something different and unique. Even cross-platform titles are an entirely different experience on the Wii U that the other consoles can't do.

The problem is that they seemed to have fired the Wii Marketing team or got outrageously cocky because they have been marketing the Wii U terrible compared to the genius advertising tactics employed with the Wii. I often wonder what the hell they're doing.
I don't plan to get any of them any time soon, but I'll likely end up getting a PS4 first, a Wii U somewhere down the line after a price drop (for Wii U Zelda and Bayonetta 2) and if I ever actually do get an Xbone it won't be for a few years.

Obviously I'll have the PC (and my 3DS) to hold me over in the meantime.

The 360 was the top console this generation for a long time, but as time progressed, Microsoft seemed to get progressively shadier and greedier which resulted in me more or less being completely turned off to Xbox Live as a service and the Xbox as a console. I made the choice not to get the next Xbox long before the Xbone was even announced because I was tired of how basic feautres were stuck behind a paywall and the fact that with each dashbard revamp, the ads became more prevalent ON A SERVICE THAT I WAS PAYING $70 A YEAR FOR, and all the crap that went down with Microsoft announcing all the DRM stuff then immediately reversing it when Sony curbstomped them at E3 left a really bad taste in my mouth.

In short, I'll probably end up with all three, but I have very little hype for any of them.

Steam is just so much better of a platform.
