Are there that many conversations that it would warrant its own section? And I'd much rather keep the maps in once place and the overworld characters in another. Same deal with the Battle Backgrounds.

In order to fix up the current stuff, I may have to ask someone to make a list telling me what to delete, and what to put in the new sections. Like I said, I know nothing in FE aside from a few names.
I was thinking:
-Units (Playable)
-Monsters (FE8)
-Maps (Chapter/Tiles)
-Battle Effects (Spells, Hit/Miss)
-Miscellaneous (icons, portraits, map sprites)

Stuff that needs deleting

Here are the named split FE9 BG`s by VincentASM

That sounds the easiest. I'll get on it.

EDIT: Ok, I fixed all of the above stuff. I noticed that there are a lot of Lyn sheets as well. Should we just leave those until we have a complete sheet of her? There are also FOUR different Roy sheets in the FE6 section, including the newest one.

Also, are you implying that all units in FE6 and FE7 can be used by both teams and only in FE8 are there enemies that are strictly enemy units? I like the name scheme that Lexou used with the Class as the main name, and if they're important story characters, put their names in parentheses. For example, "Lord (Roy)."

EDIT EDIT: The more I think about it, the more it might make sense to do what FE7 has: Playable Units, Enemy Units, Generic (both sides) units. Aside from that, here's a list of potential errors I need some help with.

FE6

-Two "Fir" sheets
-Four "Roy" sheets
-Two "Sophia" sheets
-Two "Sue" sheets
-Enemy Units has only two sheets. Would these be better in a Generic section?

FE7

-Two different "Hector" and "Lyn" sheets. Are they different classes in there, and therefore require different sheets?

FE8

-There are two Prototype enemies in the enemy section. Should we leave them there, or put them in the Misc. section? Whichever we decide, the same will be done for the Prototype Lyn sheet in FE7.
-There is a Prototype "Eirika" in Misc. See above.

That should be all my comments. I think. I hope.
thing is, playable units would only have the lords and enemy units would only include enemy-only classes (ie : soldier, brigand and final bosses), generic units would be where all the battle sprites are

what you call generic units is all the units : playable and enemy units are just recolors of the default palette, which is why i think we should just have one section with all the battle units, and ideally the sheets would all be rearranged to present the sprites in their default palette with inside the sheet the alternate palettes found in the game (ie : playable characters and enemy colors).

The (currently existing) sheets that are named after a certain character are stupid in organization's sake since it's just the recolored class (note that certain classes have different sprites for one class like the swordmaster (see first post), we'll call those "Class Name (male or female ; type 1 or 2)")

If i did the "Lord (Roy)" thing, it's just because Lords are a pretty special class -> in FE7 hector, eliwood and lyn are all Lords, but they're very different
That's what I figured. So I think having;

Playable Units (Roy, Hector, whatever)
Enemy Units (Any unique enemies)
Generic Units (As Lexou said, with all palettes)

would be the way to go.
my God Ton, sorry to put you through all this. Very Sad
although I'd most likely have run into problems too...
I guess after this we'll know how to list things better. Big Grin
Haha, it's no big deal. I just want everything to be settled and not thrown together before the end. Tongue

I think you misunderstood, Tonberry.

This is the way to go. One section for battle sprites using the default character palettes. Move current sheets into the units section until we rip their respective class.
btw canas i think you did a sheet of the portraits for BS fire emelbem and it got put into FE3
http://www.spriters-resource.com/snes/fe3/sheet/51179

the maps too
Nah, that's not a mistake. None of the other BS games have thier own section so I put 'em in FE3. As they share the most in common, graphically speaking.
No one`s posting so...

So, the tag says Grim and Bonzai, but I don't see your name on it anywhere. Who should I credit?
