Finally, back into my pocket Animal Crossing goes. I hated that I could only tend to my City Folk game while at home on the couch.

So freaking excited for all these new features, this is easily shaping up to be the best animal crossing.

I feel like this Animal Crossing will finally be taking steps forward without taking any back, which, in my opinion Animal Crossing has always been bad at that. Taking away lots but adding lots at the same time. Never keeping all of the good and then adding more good.

I like all of the new money sinks into this game. I thought the Gracey sets did a nice job of that in City Folk but you could never really see them all at once. Being able to buy things for your town is brilliant.

Just released in Japan. Famitsu gave it 39/40.

I played Wild World and I played it legit(albeit originally on a R4, but I threw it away and bought a lot of games, so I'm good now), i.e no date changing or whatever. I've had it for a good 2/3 years now, and I'm doing pretty well, Nookingtons, a mansion, most of the stuff in the museum.

But what really gives me a warm fuzzy feeling is all the little nuances, like the furniture colour feng shui system, or when a character sighs and you get little tidbits of their life story a few days apart for a couple of weeks, or when I discovered K.K Song...

The amount of though and care that must have gone into making this game, and all the characters weird nuances, and all the little things that make you smil-AAAHHHHHGODDAMITNOTANOTHERPITFALLTRAP!

I've got to say though just take a look at a full Wild WOrld wiki. Theres a crap ton of stuff for such a small cartridge. It would probably literally take years to 100% that game, get photos off of every possible person etc.

I want the classy hippo and that ant eater.

I also want cube back he was my first villager I met in the gamecube one and he was a fucking boss

Whoa, hang on. I mean, it's a little annoying to see the same thing, but I really don't think "saying overdone phrases" is against the rules.

Well, I figured Chuck Norris was considered a meme (which is against the rules, but his post had other content in it so that isn't an issue), and the last time someone said his name in a thread they got assaulted with neg. reps and hate posts etc..
I just thought I'd step in before it had a possibility of starting anything, that's all. I'm okay with it, myself.

The only villager I remember from my first game is Buck, for some reason. I guess he made a big impression on me, since he was my favorite and the one I talked the most to, heh (good to see he's apparently God Tier). I always wanted him on Wild World and City Folk...

I also remember being jealous of a friend of mine who had Kiki as their resident.

As for the new ones, that Anteater looks boss and that Takoyaki one, oh god...

No new goats? Those animals have been kind of neglected. Despite there being a total of 8 goats in the series, there were only 2 goats in City Folk!

Yeah they chopped out 6 goat citizens in that game.

Same with hippos, many have been cut. Like Spike who hasn't reappeared since the original Animal Crossing.

Also why the hell is Peanut under "Shit-Tier"?

Goldie was my favorite neighbor in city folks, she always left me gifts, was super nice, and always had the best house after mine
