Note: I'm having trouble at identifying all the characters in the game due the japanese language.
Also, the black background doen't bend with the sprites since they're high quality png files.

You can make a request with a few screenshots, I'm pretty sure someone helpful will identify them for you. Edit: I mean the names, not the characters.

The Icon Maker, since you're doing your icons by hand. It doesn't support transparency, but it's still way faster than your (and my previous) way.

Yes the newest version does support transparency, please read the portion at the very bottom of the OP that I added.
There is also an online version if you don't want to download the program.

These latest rips are suitable? They're in high quality colors and don't have issues with the black bg.
