Your legs are always so static, Gaia
@Gaia: the first sprite has a bit of an airhump.
That's because those on the left came from this sheet and I used it as a ref for the sprites on the right, and as a pallete guide as it's within the compo's guidelines not to deviate away from the pallete so keeping the source material around might be helpful, as Chris2Balls did (though by my mistake, I forgot to mention the game the pick came from, whoops). But you know, the entry's far from finished so I'm happy to take all suggestions.
When did we ever mention pallete??

It's in the compo's guidelines in the first post silly. Shy
You responded to our crits as if we said something about the pallete. I said that his legs were rigid, and Kami said there was an airhump...
Here's mine for now

Edit

It doesn't matter if the finishing sprite is bigger than the original right???

Kami referred to the first sprite, the refrence sprite 1 of 2 (which it has some sort of airhump). Also this is quite confusing, why crit the source sprites? in which the entry sprite is the one that needs to be looked at as the source sprites was quite messy to begin with and I already took a look for the flaws of the origional too.

I was asked to do better so I made a sprite of the duck leaning on a barrel of TNT

Fun fact: this is my first successful attempt at spriting Bomberman.

Looked through the SNES games and foud one called 'Front Mission'. The sprites are pretty neat, so I attempted an AT-ST in the style.
Palette is from this vehicle:

I'm liking that Akira reference in the first sprite!
