please don't tell me the only way to get that is torrenting.

Edit: just did a quick search, it's not.
So... I am very sorry for bumping this thread, but I have a question.

Does this tool work with PCSX2? Like, at all?

Because I decided to try ripping some Ape Escape game models, namely from the game Ape Escape - Million Monkeys (Saru Getchu - Million Monkeys) which is a japanese only PS2 game.

So I at first used the normal hook, you know, through the Injector.exe.
It kinda worked... just not how I wanted. It can rip shaders, textures etc...
But not the models. I keep pressing the damn key and nothing happens.

I then tried changing the key in the settings.ini file, thinking it might conflict with something, to a completely different one.
Still... it doesn't rip.

Then I copied intruder.dll and settings.ini to the folder of pcsx2 and simply launched the emu. STILL NO GO. I changed the key back to what it was (f10) and NOTHING. It rips textures, shaders... but not models. WAT

So my question is... did anyone succesfully ripped anything using DX Ripper from PCSX2, or it simply does not work and I can go weep in the corner?

For the record, I did use direct x9 in gsdx both hardware and software mode.

Thanks.
Sadly It doesn't work with PCSX2.
This is the only method we have for obtaining PS2 models.

I see.
Thanks for the reply.

That's kind of a shame, and that other method looks like crapload of work.
OH well.
We'll see if it brings in some results.
Thanks again.
When I rip models from Beyond Good & Evil & Code Lyoko Quest for Infinity, The Characters aren't T-Posed. How do I get them ripped in T=Pose?
Unfortunately not all games give a T-posed character.
Some versions of 3dVia Printscreen can rip T-posed models from GC/Wii games. I use Printscreen 2.3 with Dolphin r6115 and managed to get a number of T-posed models with it. Its a finicky process though, doesn't always work properly.
that's true with 3dVia printscreen the freeriders models all turn out a bit weird part of the model turns up as T-pose while the rest is elsewhere
