Paper Mario was also a fantastic game. I wish they'd make a DS version...

Speaking of which... What console was Paper Mario first released on? It would be cool if they make a version for the WiiU.
N64, of course. I was adding onto your previously mentioned "games I enjoyed on the N64".

The second came out on GameCube, and the third on Wii. So there'll probably be a fourth on WiiU.
It would be nice to see a new Mario Party series for the WiiU. Just imagine playing Mario Party in full HD... :p

You mean like the one coming out on 3DS?
Yeah, like th-
WTF DID YOU JUST SAY.

That's awesome, but I wish they'd done it earlier. Like, "before the 3DS" earlier.
It's coming anyway, so it's a good thing. Better late than never. Also it probably wouldn't be as good on the DS (graphics wise, because Paper Mario needs that "paper" feel)
Oh yeah, because the N64 totally stuffed it up.
It'd be better than the original, and pretty much on par with The Thousand Year Door. There have been improvements of N64 games on the DS (e.g. Super Mario 64 DS), I don't see how it could be less papery.

But then again, I only played the first, so maybe the other two were way better and the DS wouldn't do justice, I dunno.
The DS is actually a weaker machine than the N64, even if you think about Super Mario 64 DS. There's barely any N64 remake on it (SM64 and Diddy Kong Racing basically?). While Paper Mario uses sprites and stuff for the characters, the backgrounds are really detailed, with a lot of textures and stuff, I don't think DS would be able to pull that off (Also, after the Gamecube one, Mario is even more paper-y). That's why they sticked with the Mario & Luigi series for RPGs.
Paper Mario for the GameCube looked really cool. It had a really nice touch to it (it looked like Mario was cut out from a piece of paper!). I wonder if a Mario Party game is planned for the 3DS...

At least they did that, it was awesome. Unfortunately I have a strange feeling a next one (if it happens) will be on 3DS Wink

Probably. Mario Kart 7 and Super Mario 3D Land are already out for it, before long they'll probably come up with Mario Party 3D Ultra or whatever Tongue
"Mario Party 3D Ultra"? That's funny! XD
Does anyone know about an upcoming Sonic game for WiiU? (Don't feed me bullshit about Sonic Dimensions, it's a damn hoax! :@)
Dude, stop with Sonic Dimensions. The one thing Sega can do right is graphics, and the ugly ass floor tiles all over the walls and windows shoved in random places should have tipped you off.

The only thing I can offer is that the next Mario & Sonic Olympic game will probably be on WiiU, if it's still popular then.

You seriously need to play the second two. TTYD was... dead seriously one the best sequels to a game of all time. It improved upon absolutely everything and has earned itself a spot as one of the best GC games of all time.
Super Paper Mario is amazing as well. It doesn't have the same RPG gameplay (it's 2.5-D styled, I suppose), but it's still very respectable as a sequel and the characters are lovable and you still technically have partners (only they are Pixls, these cute little digital creatures) that you need to use to unlock things and fight and stuff. It's well worth it I say. The main villain is nothing short of awesome as well. Cute
