So how can I import my own particles? (If you've seen some of the sonic generations models, they have some textures that are used in the game as dust, lighting effects and what not)
Particle effects can be done in so many different ways that answering that question is incredibly difficult. It sounds to me like it's loading in 2D graphics and applying them to "plane" objects in-game, which are used as particles.
Thanks for the info!
Finally figured out how to import the animations. They can be exported now.
That's PERFECT! Could you please tell me? It would really help me... Please... Cute
You'll need 3ds max.

I'm going to get it soon. How do I import/export the animations?
Errr... I might just make a little guide for that. Where should I post it?

Questions, Info and Tutorials I guess...
thread = dead?
Definately not. I'm currently trying to get my hands on 3DS MAX and practicing using fragmotion and modelling. Could you make you tutorial a teenie bit more specific?
So... are you using Sega's animations?
I'm planning to for sonic and omochao, since they're kind of difficult to animate. But we can custom animate enemy models and such.
Yay for custom enemies. They're always good.

...and by custom, I mean the equivalent of frankenspriting models.

EDIT: No seriously, I can do that sort of thing. It's fun.
I wondering on how well you could model? Could you make an enemy model that you think would fit in a sonic game? I want to see how good you really are. Smile
