I asked perviously on pt how to rip from GBA versions of pokemon, and have done so successfully, but the tool i used doesnt work for older versions of pokemon such as gold/silver. I'm planning to rip all the pokémon and was wondering if there's any tool that can speed up the process, or whether i'll have to catch every single pokemon to rip them.

PS didnt know which forum to put this in, perhaps there should be a "Queries" forum or something.
I think that stuff is already ripped, so why bother?

Anyways, i think there may be some cheat codes for the older pokémon games that should work with that one emulator's cheatcode thing. Just search for some "pokédex 100% complete" cheat and the rip the images out of the pokédex.

The gold sprites on TSR are saved as gif and the shading on most of them is ruined (take a close look) and i want to upload it to my site as well.

Also, i can only find gameshark codes, how do i put that into VBAs cheat system?
Oh well, then.

Just open VBA and load the rom. Then go on "Cheats" (in the main menu at the top of the window) -> "Cheat List...". There you click the "Gameshark..."-Button. Enter anything you want as "Description" and copy the code into the "Code"-Field. Be sure that the checkbox next to the cheat that appeards in the cheat list is enabled.
I think it should be like that. Haven't checked it with some GBC rom.
thanks!
I tried GBC codes on VBA, they didn't work right, but I tried them on an actual GBC emu and they worked. Try it out on GBC emu first.
