why is it that every time n64 textures skrew up....people spontanously grow moustashes?
I decided to put together a quick guide on how to fix that problem. I hope it helps. Wink

Remember, it doesn't just occur with the eyes, it often happens several times in each model. I suggest checking the texture coordinate editor for each of the textures to see how they're applied to the model. Don't forget that some textures are meant to be tiled though. Wink
Couldnt you just adjust the uv-mapping just a tiny bit?

Unfortunately it's not that simple. If we look at the image Peardian posted, we can see why just adjusting the UV-mapping wouldn't work.

You would have to raise the vertices on the UV map at the bottom of the eye section, to get rid of the second pair of eyebrows beside the nose. This would stretch the bottom half of the eyes down. You would also have to lower the vertices on the UV map at the top of the forehead, to get rid of the second pair of eyes on the forehead. This would stretch the top half of the eyes upwards. The eyes would now be about twice as tall as they should be.

With the method I showed (Which is really quick once you've done it a couple of times), the texture is positioned exactly as it was originally, but without the unwanted repetition from texture tiling. Wink
