Yaaaaaaaay!
So aside from "Mario Helping Luigi" is that everything?
We still need:
- Mario's Battle redone
- Baby Mario/Mario Battle
- Baby Luigi/Luigi Battle
- Mario Helping Luigi
- Baby Mario Helping Baby Luigi
- Baby Luigi Helping Baby Mario
- Baby Luigi/Luigi Helping Baby Mario
- Baby Mario/Mario Helping Baby Luigi

So ya, there's still quite a bit to go. And if you're wondering what happens when the adult faints while the baby version of that one is still alive, the baby will pretty much carry them off screen and come back alone. And once all that's been done, I want to see if Yoob will need to be re-ripped, then maybe I'll rip the Bros. item effects (fire, etc.), but that's on the maybe list for now. Then after that, I'll be done with the game entirely. That's my plan for 2013. Hopefully I can get that done. As for the Enemies/Bosses, I'll leave those for someone who can get them all properly since Yoshi Magic can get them properly. They pretty much come out the wrong color and broken in pieces if you're wondering. Hopefully Griega Master or whoever can extract those as well.
All you really need is "Yoshi Magic" and the rom of the game itself first of all.
Wow, holy crap. Never mind. Tongue
So someone told me to try to grab all the enemy/boss sprites. Here's what I was able to grab since the format is pretty similar to ML3's

Some of them have wierd boxes over them for whatever reason but with any luck you would be able to fill those in with something you may already have or easily guess what went there most are fine though.
Thanks a lot! This was exactly what I was looking for. Some of these might be easy to put together. I might try and fix up the Princess Shroob's Soul sheet.

EDIT: For Fobj0152, are some of the legs supposed to be grey? I remember exactly.

It's the only palette that makes sense with that particular sheet, 150 has it without that though. I haven't played the game but a youtube video reveals the legs flash grey colors while its turning into that smaller form.
I noticed that the sprites that normally have rotated pieces on them didn't turn out so well. Instead those pieces are on backwards, and not rotated at all. Is there any way of fixing that?
At the moment I don't see a fix for that, but it doesn't affect too many if i remember? I'll be sure to give it a thurough poking but id probably have to reach an enemy that rotates to look at the problem.
Greiga Master, your patience and skill astounds and amazes me. You go to all this trouble and I am blown away every time you manage to extract something like this. Some people may complain about small things, but not entirely without reasons. Of course there is a purpose for perfection when it comes to spriting and such, but first things first I really thank you for all your effort, and am glad someone this dedicated to spriting exists. I would also like to thank you for your patience in perfecting these extracts and such. I mean yes, there are obstructive boxes on some vital sprites, but nothing a little in-game ripping won't fix most of the time as it's usually just a single recurring sprite on each sheet. And the rotations are problematic yes, and I'm not sure what we could do about them. But the point is, ya did an amazing job and it's inspiring. It makes me want to get off my sorry butt and actually rip stuff again. Anyway, I just hope you know how much we appreciate your work and effort, and I really hope you can bring around some new assembly things (Maybe like...Super Princess Peach which seems simpler, or if you like to challenge yourself maybe something like Contact or Wario: Master of Disguise). Please continue the amazing work, as it is really helpful and inspiring.
I really hate to double post, but I just thought I should mention that the old GLextract method works for this game's single sprites if one can manage to find the 'boxed' sprites in-game we can easily replaced them and construct full sheets. As I love this game myself, and can actually play it effectively, I may do it personally if no one else wishes to bother with this project any more...
By all means, go for it!
