Hi, as already mentioned in my other topic , I'm part of an indie development team and know a programmer who is quite competent with several programming languages. However in the team we lack game ideas , and sprites. So we decided to ask around on this forum if you guys had any game ideas that should be made into real games. If the game idea is good, (and you could perhaps provide sprites) the idea will be made into a game by us.

Some general rules for posting game ideas:

- Please try to provide as many details as possible! The more details , the higher the chance that we will pick YOUR game idea.

- Don't focus too much on the story of the game. Try to provide gameplay details instead

- Please understand that we can only handle one game idea at a time. You can still keep posting them but it might take some time until we deal with them.

- There's no guarantee that a game idea will be taken, in the end it's up to us to decide whether we like the game idea or not.

- Clone game ideas will not be accepted (Stuff like: Remake the first Super Mario, etc.), however, it's allowed to suggest fanmade games (This means: It needs to have unique sprites, especially made for our game and NOT ripped from the original games and some additional gameplay that was not included in the original game)

- At the moment, 3D and larger networking stuff is not programmable for us yet. Apart from that pretty much everything is possible.

Currently, the only examples of our previous work can be found here: http://www.spriters-resource.com/communi...?tid=18711 - but we are hoping to extend our portfolio in the near future.

We're looking forward to your ideas and of course, for the sprites and ideas, you'll get credit in the games and - if the games should make any through ads or being sold - some money!

Cheers - SmithyK

NOTE - Dazz said that for this topic "Game Development is right", rather than putting this in the requests section of the forum.
Too lazy to think of our own ideas so we'll just use someone else's: the topic.

Seriously? Seriously?

This is a request.
wait, you "know" a programmer, you don't have ideas, or sprites

what DO you do?
Sure, I'll give you some ideas. However, I require that you give me all of the credit and 75% of the profits that the game makes.

This thread (well, and the previous one) clearly shows that you have no idea how the game development process works.
How do you plan to have a game development team yet you have to crowdsource the idea process?

I'm tired of thinly veiled request threads like this being posted and it seems like we get like five of these a week.
I'm locking this.
Dazz, if you feel it necessary to unlock this for some reason then go ahead.
