it's the Canadian way to spell it
Why is everyone hating on Queen Bee so hard?

I kinda like her.

Queen Bee Cry

I'm pretty sure that's the Wii Sports jingle in that song at about 4:14... is... is there seriously a Wii Sports Resort track? What the hell, Nintendo?

Also:
- That Bowser-themed city looking track looks awesome, as does that original SMB level one.
-aaaa why is the Wii battle theme playing on that SNES Battle Course. I mean that track was on the Wii version too but it had the SNES music which is way better, imo.
-Queen Bee doesn't look that bad, I kinda like her too, I'll just be annoyed if neither Rosalina nor Dry Bones are in it (blah blah selfish personal preferences). Honestly my only qualm over it is, if you're going to choose an SMG representative, why choose the character whose most memorable characteristic is the fact her mission just seemed weirdly suggestive?
-Underwater in battle mode seems like it could be annoying with people hiding, maybe?
-f yeah, Shy Guy

So yeah. If this post seems overly negative, well, everything good about Mario Kart's already been said and done! I'll most definitely buy this whenever I end up with a 3DS, don't get me wrong.
I'm more or less obliged to get this depending on the final roster.

I like the new levels that were shown, not going to lie, but I want to wait and see who else will get in.
I've actually heard that there is 2 Wii Sport Resort levels (Wuhu Island). The cool thing imo is that they both are 1 long track. No multiple laps, just one long race to the finish. Personally, I'm looking forward to playing on those tracks.
and nintendo seems to enjoy milking the whole mii thing when they don't need to.
The whole point of Wuhu island was that it was going to be a recurring location, so I don't get why you guys are complaining about them using it in Mario Kart. I think it's a pretty cool looking track.
Even though that's one of the functions that made the Wii what it was.

Because I don't see why they need to advertise anything about Mii's it like it's something special to be fairly honest. Yeah, the games helped the Wii out a lot to an extent, but the fact they're using like that constantly seems like they want you to get a Wii ______ game.

Just a fair observation.

He's not hating on what the Miis accomplished, but how Nintendo is treating them now. I agree though, the only games with Miis that are even worth a damn are Wii Sports and Sports Resort, everything else was mediocre or worse.
This is definitely going to be a day 1 purchase for me. This looks just fantastic.

Literally who cares.

It's a function in the console where you can design your own little people. And now you can use them in your games.

What is the big deal? It's not like they're forcing you to create a Mii if you don't have one in order to play the damn game.

No, its more like how the Miis are seem to be treated more important than most Nintendo characters these days that bugs the hell out of Nintendo fans.

The fact that Miis get top treatment in a MARIO game bugs a lot of people. But eh... its not that bad. Its not like the Miis are on the front cover or anything. Its probably because of that "New Super Mario Bros. Mii" demo at E3.

People were annoyed that you couldn't play as your favorite Mario characters in New Super Mario Bros. Wii (instead you play as two Toads) but now even they get the boot for Miis? Hell lets just get rid of Mario and Luigi while were at it! Let's just have Super Mii Bros. from now on! I'm sure Miyamoto would love that! Grahhh!

*gasp* *cough*

S-sorry. Lost my mind there for a second... Um carry on.
That is seriously over exaggerating. They're putting lots of characters in, what is wrong with implementing something that is a part of Nintendo now? Sure Mii's aren't one singular character, but they're largely a part that identifies Nintendo as who they are, along with all of their major hitting titles.

so lets slap on miis in every franchise that made nintendo pretty important and and make everything about the Miis

Super Mii Bros
Legend of Mii
WuHu Country
Mii Nightmare on Wuhu Island
Mii: No the other Mii
Hell while we're at it lets replace the pokemon trainers and pokemon with Miis and call the games PokeMii: Black Mii Version and White Mii Version.
Even your nintendogs will be miis, why because they're a better pet then dogs.

Miis, they ARE what makes nintendo now and for the rest of the future.
