Hello there, wonderful peoples of TSR Big Grin , I am Draconis Commotis Cool as my name suggests. I have just joined because I have lots of spare time right now, and I need a decent way to use it. So I looked around on teh internetz for a forum with something related to what I like doing. Finding the spriters resource I remembered when I was in another forum which praised spriters resource a lot for its sheets. Tongue
I remember back about a year ago, when I used to do a few pokemon splices, and if my memory is good, a sprite or two (not custom, but I do plan on doing custom sprites, I'm currently working on some Ninja ). So yeah I joined, hoping to make some friends, join in with the community somehow and, have a good time! Big Grin Ya, thanks for reading, I know YOU did Ninja if anyone could gimme any starters that would be great.
hello, Draconis.

enjoy your stay at tSR and read the rules.
Well hello Draconis_Commotis! I'm sure you'll fit well here. You can go ahead and post some sprites you've ripped, or some splices in the Reworkshop Thread (Spriting and Pixel Art) or whatever else!
As for starters, it depends what you want to do here.

Okay, could you reccomend any spriting/splicing tutorials? I'm still not that good Ninja

The first one being the Tutorial section over at PixelJoint.

Good start there.

And while you're learning or making a sprite, go learn and try some terms from this Dictionary.

It's got terms and techniques you'll use constantly while spriting, so keep them under your belt when working.

Especially since you'll just be directed there anytime you post a sprite, a head start could help.
Thanks for the help Big Grin

Edit: atm I'm working on a litttle thing, [Image: present1e.png] , going to make a few more sprites, of it opened and with some text and stuff. Know any good free sites that can make it animated into a .gif?
