So, hi gaiz.
I'm in a bit of a pickle.

After many days of wondering and trying, I finally figured out how I can aquire dem KOF XIII sprites.
I tried everything possible to extract them, yet it never occurred to me that I can just use the quickbms script from this thread:
http://forum.xentax.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=6809

... and then look at the files in TiledGGD

However, the problem is... I have no idea how to apply the correct palettes on to the sprite.
So for example I have got Elizabeth's jumbled mess of a sprite from TiledGGD. Normally, I more or less know how to get the palette... but this time it's kinda different.
You see, it would seem that the game uses palettes placed in a certain folder of the game... in .png format.
It looks like this:

This are Elizabeth's default colors.

So, maybe it's just something simple and stuff but... I don't know how to apply this palette onto the sprite.
If any of you know, please do help me out.

Oh and I hope I posted this in correct section.
Have you tried opening it as a Palette (as in 'Open Palette... Ctrl+Shift+O').

Was going to suggest this as well. Then just adjust the tilesize or whatever accordingly to suit the sprite

then, it should look okay!!
Okay guys, thanks for your input.
I haven't replied until now, because I wanted to report with some positive results... but it didn't work.
Nothing I tried gave me the palette.

Yes. I did open to png file as a palette, changed various settings... I looked for days. Nope, nothing.

I suspect it's because the palette is literally a .png image file.
Or maybe I'm doing something wrong?

Here are two files. One of them contains the sprites, the other is the .png palette file.
The settings in tiledggd for the sprites are:
Panel Size: 256x[Doesn't matter what value]
Format: 8 Bits/pixel
Mode: Linear
Endianness: Big Endian

I hoep that someone who's smarter than me can figure this one out. Or at least point out what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks.
