I think they might, because people have ripped sprites from flash games before and someone submitted some from that old old flash game "Cartoon Summer Resort" or whatever and they were happily accepted (anyone correct me if things have changed).

I believe you are correct. He uploaded it to Photobucket and his sheet was too big so they shrunk it.
