Hello everyone Spriters-Resource.
I am new to the community, but long been of the page.
I want to show my first work with sprites (actually only recolored).
Excuse my bad Englishv, I saw the need to use Google Translator.

I'm not a big fan of Pokemon, but I am somewhat involved in this for custom sprites.
I decided to recolor the "Pokemon Trainer" Super Smash Bros. Brawl, change the color palette of the original sprites from the color palette of SSBB.
All sprites were ripped by me from a mugen char obviously called Pokemon Trainer.
At recolored All, I mean even the Pokeball, are less obvious but were recoloured, each sprite was recoloured about 80 - 90%, were minimal pixels not recolor.
It was a work of about 30 minutes or a little, I loved the result.
Thank you for taking the time to read, critique and constructive comments.
Soon I plan to rip all the sprites and recolor, plus make other improvements to these.
The original colors are better IMO. I see that you gave them Brawl colors, but recolors are frowned upon here. This section's for sprites you made entirely yourself or heavily edited.
This is exactly how I started off, with recolors.

I learned soon afterwards that that wont get you anywhere, so I started ripping, that got me somewhere.

What im saying is that TSR wont accept recolors. Sorry about that.

But they might accept your rips (If they aren't already.).
Thank you for your comment, do not quite understand it either by the translator cursed xD
I'm currently ripping the sprites and I hope to finish in a few days.
To check if this has been ripped already, what game are you ripping from?
Hello zeed!

Now, some advice on these recolours: to get a consistency between the sprites, you'll have to use recurring elements, such as a certain amount of contrast, saturation and/or hue.
As you can see, this isn't the case in your recolours. I suggest you work on that more.
I'll post an edit so you can see what I mean.
Ripping a game I'm not particularly a "char" is a character in "moo" with this you can creatu own 2d fighting game, not the origin of the char, but the sprites of pokemon should be some game as I mentioned, I am not a fan of pokemon.

Thanks for your suggestions, I hope your postSmile
Just a heads up, if the sprites were used in MUGEN, then they have already been ripped.

Heck, they weren't originally rips, but JoshR's custom sprites
Here's what I meant:

What I did was take the value and saturation of each of Charizard's colours, then adjusted the colours on both Ivysaur and Squirtle to have the same value and saturation as Charizard's. I then tweaked the contrast and saturation on all of them.
Hope it helps!
Also what's the language that you speak? We have a lot of members, maybe one of them speaks your language.
but then did these sprites needed to be recolored at all? the original palete is just fine.

The thing he's doing is what usually is called brawlification.
It's where you take a sprite,

and then utterly ruin it's palette with boring, bland, low contrast colours in an attempt to making the sprite look similar in style to the colours of SS Brawl.

It never has to be done, but for some reason, certain people have a fetish to it.
What I understood by the translator, you're right.
It is a "brawlification" and some people have attraction towards such recoloreo.
And personally I love that kind of colors, I'm darker than rainbows. xD
thank you all for your comments and suggestions!
What I learned from my DS flashcard, is that dull sprites get duller when you see them on a gaming device even if the screen brightness is high. Therefore, rips from video games often seem very saturated. And saturation can be nice, as seen in chris' post!
