I don't mind super guides. Hell, SMG2, that stupid rolling boulder level in the Molten Monster Galaxy. I died so many times on that last part because I'd get nervous and over shoot the last bouncy wall, sending me flying off stage, so yeah, I didn't mind using the Super Guide. Later I was able to go back and complete it on my own anyways.
Granted, having them in your face is bothersome. Just having them there is fine, you can use them if you want, but don't bother me with it.
