Hi guys, I'm making a Crash Bandicoot level for MKF, I already got everything coded, tilesets and half of the design done, but I'm lacking a good background. Originally I wanted any of the Crash Bandicoot 1 backgrounds with the Wumpa Islands in it (there are plenty in the levels), but it's impossible for me to rip it, so I thought about using some generic wood/forest BG, but I'm lost.

This is a screenie of the level (WIP)

I'm looking for something dark, maybe with mushrooms or statues or ruins in the background, or just woods, dunno, can anyone help me find a good one?
How about Super Castlevania IV (SNES)?

If not the Castlevania one, than maybe Mushroom Hill's background from Sonic if the game isn't already using its background somewhere:

Thanks, but the mushroom hill one is too colorful and the CV one doesn't match very well, however, a friend of mine told me about Donkey Kong Country 2's "Lost World" background, I wanted to rip it myself but I don't have any saved slots in my SNES emulator (ZSNES) lol

Does anyone have any saved slots to access this level, or know a good source to get it?
Ah, sorry for double posting, but I could get a save state, I'll see if I can rip it, if I can't I'll just use the Castlevania one.

Thanks a lot Smile

Edit: Ok I could rip it, here it is just in case you guys want to add it to the TSR, this would be a submission I guess, it's the background from Donkey Kong Country 2's Lost World (jungle area), it loops horizontally

I was going to suggest the one from DKC. That's more of a forest, DKC2 is more of a jungle.

Even though a forest background has been found, i have ripped one of those Crash Bandicoot backdrops. Maybe it is still useful for your project:

Surprise

That's awesome, I'll use it for the boss background so it looks more epic

Btw I finished the level

Nice job! That's a pretty excellent boss, too!
