been working on this for awhile; decided to post it to TSR and have some people help me move along!!

i don't mind editing this as long as you tell what you want to make out of this.
I was actually looking for criticism! I want to finish it myself ;
Well, the lightsources on the chest and belt seem to be different from the head. I think I'll wait a bit longer to see how you flesh it out before giving more crit.
I like the thing going on with his cloak though and the highlights on his head give it some nice crispness.
I think Thernz is right - it's hard to judge because I assume it's very unfinished.
First thing I'd suggest is shading the rest of it... I mean, I can't realy give criticism on something that in itself is very uncomplete. That's like saying a building looks crap because it's just a bunch of structural beams.

i'm not going to finish it for you, lol.
what i meant was i don't know enough about this to be able to give you any criticism, i was asking what your objectives were for this piece, like what did you want to do with this piece, did you have any artwork in mind when doing this, etc... so that we can give you criticism to move in that/those direction(s).
but i'll give you criticism anyway:
the colours are very saturated and i'm having difficulties reading where the light is coming from. batman's head seems rather large for his body ard i can't tell whether the things at the bottom of his cape are tentacles, ripped cape or swirls.
more definition please! Big Grin
Generally I was going (am going) for Dustin Nguyens style of shading and coloration

What I'm really having trouble with is how to shade the cape across his body.
