For anyone who wants to rips sounds from games like Gears of War and Unreal Tournament 3, here you go: http://www.gildor.org/en/projects/umodel

Its likely that a lot of Unreal Engine 3 games, specifically those not made by Epic Games, won't use this sound format but its certainly worth a try if you want to do it. The list here should give you an idea of what you may be able to rip from although since the sound export is new there's no list for explaining what games support it yet. Regardless, you can find the list here: http://www.gildor.org/projects/umodel/compat

To export your sounds, you'll need to use command prompt and for convenience you'll want to to have UE Viewer in the same folder as your game's data files. To extract your sounds once you have your command prompt in the right directory, type in umodel -export -sounds "Filename without parenthesis". You can also optionally add in -nomesh, -noanim, -nostat, and -notex commands so that a lot of the other stuff won't even be extracted. Once extracted, your extracted files should be in a new folder with the same name as the file you just extracted.
