I'm really bored so I've decided to do another ripping project. This is Pu·Li·Ru·La (or PuLiRuLa), one of my favorite Taito games.



I only got player 1 for now. I'll rip player 2 next.

Stage 3 is one of the weirdest things ever conceived in a game!

Oh God, this game was made on crack, especially these uncensored japanese levels.

ARGH! I hate it when this happens. I just discovered two more sprites of the main characters so I'm hoping you can update the sheets.



I'm going to go through the entire tile set and just get them all at once this time around, instead of going one by one.

If my internet wasn't acting up this past week, I would have seen this topic sooner. Awesome sheets, just one minor nitpick. Zac and Mel turn blue when they lose their last life (the sprites where they have the halo over their heads). Real simple to fix (or add).


This is what I mean by turning blue. You can take these if you want and update your sheets, or choose to not use them. No credit would be required.

Yeah, I know of that and I'm going to be truthful, I didn't really think anyone would care.

I'll update the sheet later when I'm finished getting everything ready.

Well I said I was only doing this sheet because I was so it looks like I found something else to do while I was ripping this. I was going to rip the final boss but I seem to have quit on it. So the only thing I managed to rip was the first stage, so I might as well upload that.





Though in case someone wants some PuLiRuLa sprites, I've only managed to collect them from the tilemap and even took the time to set the correct palette. It just needs to be put together. If you are interested in building these sprites, be my guest:

Good rip! I'll possibly look into sorting those sheets for you, but I probably won't find the time any time soon...
