Yep, I'm going for KA style, though I may have made him a bit too big.

It looks great, but isn't that too much contrast between shades?
As for size, a little smaller might help. Maybe you should refer to the Nightmare sprites?

Well, the colors were taken directly from Meta-Knight... (I always borrow colors from a sprite if I'm going for a specific style, so that it will match the style more.) And I'll see about shrinking him down a bit if need be.

I love what you do.
