What is the most annoying level that you have ever encountered in a video game? That is the question of this thread.
Hard to choose, but i'd say any of the levels from World 9 of Scribblenauts.
Definately not from Drawn to life. Maybe pretty much any level on hard with certain characters (like Iceman, Oilman and Cutman) on Megaman Powered Up
Ms. Pacman Level 1
Though they weren't to hard, I always found the Lakitu levels to be annoying in the Mario games since I was a wii lad
Rayman 1 has so many annoyingly impossible levels, I swear whoever designed that game hates the world or something
Halo 2's Delta Halo on legendary difficulty. Dear god, most of that campaign on legendary was difficult in general, but there was a lot of annoying parts in that level. Right out of the first area were a few sniper jackals that camped the pathway (impassible hills on both sides) to the next area from the opposite side. Not only could they instakill you, but they were also very unlike later versions of the enemy in that they would stay in one place and NOT move. You poke your head up for half a second then you are GONE.

Another area in the same level put you in a sort of small valley with some caves and cliffs around. Not only were there a few elites, but IIRC there was also a number of jackal snipers. The drone army that attacks you later doesn't help since they would just rape you immediately with massive amounts of plasma pistol fire.

Its probably one of my favorite levels in the series, but on legendary is also one of the hardest in my opinion.

A close second for me was probably in COD4 the epilogue level on veteran. Dear god. You have 1 minute, 30 seconds to get through the level. Because of how its laid out, you must run through this level near perfectly. Not even any frag grenades to help you. You do have some flash grenades, but since on veteran you have to get it within 2 feet of an enemy for it to actually affect them good luck with that. Its a good thing that game had a little bit of an auto target if you double tapped LT or L2 depending on your console because you needed pretty much every advantage you could get to do that level. Still, its not nearly as lengthy as most difficult levels so it doesn't bother me quite as much.
Sonic 2006. The entire game.
(I still enjoy the game because it's entertainingly bad, but that doesn't stop it from sending you into a blind rage out of sheer annoyance.)

Oh, and Sonic Heroes.
The pinball table.
The lava tower.
Actually, yeah, the whole game just plain sucked ass.
In terms of annoying, I can never, for some reason, get gold on Mario Kart Wii on the Mirror Grand Prix. Normal way round ,no problem. its just the other way.
Pokemon sapphire always got me irritated on a couple of gyms and members of the elite four because of the odd Pokemon or move (like Winona's Altaria's Earthquake attack)
More Brain Training's Masterpiece Recital on Hard. unless you have memorised the song and can play it perfectly, you will struggle greatly
Need for Speed Most Wanted. Certain levels are next to impossible (like driving a Cop Car that is crap compared to your own car)
World 9 levels 1-7 in NSMBwii
Casino Night Zone Sonic 2
Any level in metal gear DOS (since you don't have a codec and you won't know shit on what you are doing)
Stone Tower Majoras Mask
Any level in Spleunky

what else was there again?
I can't really think of any right now, but all I could say is

World 8-3 on SMB
Isn't that the one with the long jump? I hated it, but who am I kidding? I was playing SMB Deluxe for the Gameboy Color :I
Also, any level with Hammer Bros.
Water Temple.
The space world in Bubsy. Sad
FretCraft. Constant lag and crashing, not to mention Lexou building lame shit.
One of the levels in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, I think 8-4... the one that is underwater and completely dark and there are currents god I hate it.
