Not enough gunplay going on, honestly that shooting looked stale as fuck compared to how Dante is suppose to handle his guns. And for some reason the hair looks worse to me, I don't think the white hair matches it either.
Complaints aside, the sword gameplay looks great, hopefully they'll make the other weapons look as good.
Well it's all "work in progress gameplay", so I guess it's still too soon to tell, we'll see.

The guns have actually been nerfed in order to put more emphasis on the sword gameplay and to prevent just knocking someone in the air and shooting them until they die like in DMC3.

Judging by fan responses, and my playing of the original, Capcom probaly should have stopped DMC sequels at 3, with an HD Collection releasing in place of Devil May Cry 4.
This reboot seems entirely unnecessary and seems to have caused more negative reception than positive. I'll be surprised if this doesn't get cancelled soon, but knowing Capcom, they'll probaly release and blame its low sales on the fans, like how they blamed the fans for Mega Man Legends 3's cancellation. :/
Didn't DMC3 nerf the guns from DMC2 and 1 anyway? Heh, instead of nerfing the guns, they probably should've just revamped the whole gun system.

DMC3 nerfed a lot of things and fixed them up with the Style system. Nerfed guns isn't a problem when you use Gunslinger and get increased damage by using the guns frequently.

Dante's look like most hero's set a tone for the games they are played that's why I liked Dante and why DMC3 was so cool. Dat song comes on and I know I'm a good looking white haired demon dude who listens to heavy metal wields a medieval sword and totes dual custom desert eagles that never run out of bullets ever.
He also likes pizza a lot.
Then he kills demons, A LOT of them, and he does it looking cool.
This new one is starting to grow on me though.
