Yay for the news. I am a bit excited about this. Seems like we're getting more models the day, granted you guys are doing more than my lame work Very Sad.
Well having another large update again would be cool. Hopefully if the rain storm doesn't kill my power ill post up around 10 tonight.
Nice. Sorry if I request a lot from you. Just you have models that you can easily/capable of obtaining for me. I do appreciate the efforts into these things.
I'm amazed at how little interest has been shown in the X-2 models. But I'll be uploading a few models of each of these tonight. And being able to get them and having time to post them aren't always equal sadly. But I post what I can. =)

maybe the chocobos from X-2? i heard u can raise chocobos in x-2 like u can in FFVII are they in different colors as well?
I already posted that it would be the numerous player models that I'd be ripping first. It's been long enough since I played it all the way through I don't recall if there was such a thing.
Okay I'm curious. I've decided I'm going to do Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom first, but there is a problem with the hands on these models:

[Image: chunli.png] See how she has 3 thumbs or 4 thumbs if you count the fisted hand too.

The hands in this game apparently aren't animated at all (or at least the fingers), but rather I would think they use some clever swapping of hand models to make the appearance that they're moving. The models have 3 separate hands with fingers, and then 1 fisted hand. This is great and all except they're all on the same geoset/group. So I have to try to manually pick them out. And even then I have to decide whether I delete things or if I keep them all. I could get way more rips up from this game if I didn't worry about separating the hands. But the issue is if I do separate them do I keep all the hands or do I just keep all the hands except one set and then if that's what I do what set do I keep?
I'd say keep the hands honestly. Its weird that there wouldn't be a way to disable the hands, but not much that can be done about it. Still, I think it'd be best if you just left it up to whoever ends up using it to keep it as close to the original as possible. Like you said its possible to delete them, but its obviously not quite as easy to get them back once you do delete them.

Ah, the replacement method. A common technique in the world of stop-motion. I would probably do the same thing for the head of a custom Jack Skellington model to preserve his feel of an actual stop-motion character.

As for the matter of keeping or losing the multiple hands, I would suggest that you make one file keeping the hands and another file with only one set of hands.
Wow.... the hands.... um, is it too late to change my vote? Ha ha ha.

wow....it;s just like a Play arts action figure....oh yah
does tatsuno actually use 3d models? i thought they only used sprites, i've played the game at A2F but it looked like it was all sprites and stuff. as for that game though If u can rip the final boss YAMI that would be ausome! he's the final boss and main villan in Okami.

as for FF-X can u rip the cactuar? and i think a cactuar is the only model u won't have to t-pose because even in the game when they move they are in that pose. one of the wolf monsters would be good too, i think they are called fenrir. maybe a blitzball too if u cna find it.
Seems like everywhere I go is dead threads... but if your still ripping models and what not. I would totally be interested in getting a Megaman and Zero out of Tatsunoko Vs Capcom. I've been trying to get them for a while. The hand issue is lazy animation of the game makers part. Big Grin but it does make for a funny. Someone ripped some tvc models over at face punch but it seems like the thread died and they are all garry's mod converting anyway. Sad
Threads like this are dead for a reason, don't bump them.
I understand when people are new. I understand new people may be curious about old threads. Now you lose me when you decide to blatantly ignore what I say and revive long dead threads seemingly for your own amusement rather than making your own thread with questions about things.

As you know, I warned you once for this already. Don't be an ass about it or you're going to get banned.
