Quick custom. Had fun, sorta.
Hope you guys like it.

If someone could animate the walking... cycle, it'd be much appreciated.

Edit- Sorry Mr. Cifuentes, something was wrong with my internet that day.

Edit-Again-
For the little guy http://www.iaza.com/work/100723C/LilStuW...2-iaza.gif

And there we have it!
Strictly WIP, though. Notice i reddened the pants, not much else. You think it'd look better if i curved the spike/hair thing on it's head?
Not SMW style.

SMW style is more simplistic, both visually and in the animation.
www.iaza.com

you're free to animate these on your own.

Well........
I mean, I used a goomba as a reference picture.
The goombas only had 1 animation.. I didn't think Stu would look good with only two.

If this isn't a style, can't we just take it as a custom anyway?
I mean, SmithyGCN has his own styles and we submit them.
I'm not calling him out or anything, don't get me wrong. I envy that guy.
But uh...
I don't really know what I'm supposed to say to that.
Is there anything visually wrong with the sprites besides that it's not in SMW style?

Says "Mozilla Firefox couldn't find this page"... every time.
Sorry Sad

That's because Smithy's stuff isn't horrible, this looks like you spent literally 30 seconds on it
Do we really need to start something like this again?
And, i thought you were banned, sir.

works perfectly fine.
I don't know, It may be that my computer can't handle the page's script.
Sorry.
But, since nobody seems to like them, whatever.
Oh, my. I didn't realize who I was talking to.
Excuse me for my rudeness!

This isn't horrible for a beginner though. He can still fix these with some patience.

Thank you VERY much. That was the comment I was waiting on...
A constructive one.

yes, a comment that talks about the flaws of your work indirectly is better than a direct comment. [/sarcasm]
When I first saw these, I thought you just recolored one of these RO jelly enemies and added a nose and blobs for feet.
Also, Strollin' Stu is supposed to be wearing bright red pants like Mickey Mouse's.
lets see
pointless huge tag: check
buffed up sheet size with useless stuff: check
misleading title: check

also sorry to spoil it, but that walking animation, apart from being extremely lazy, doesnt work at all.
I came here expecting Stu Pickles from Rugrats in Super Mario World style.

I have been disappointed.
Then let's just go ahead and delete the thread. I understand that it's crap, I didn't know it was God forsaken though.
I don't really know what to say.
I'm just not a good spriter. Simple.

Are there any tutorials on how to sprite in SMW style?
Or whatever style. I want to be a better spriter, but most of the comments make me feel like a sack of ass.
