wow surely a lot of rules for something one asumes its common sense.
You'd think so, but unfortunately NOPE.
also if it's written down, then you have a legitimate reason to send out warns

Nowadays common sense was replaced by stupidity
For example, one would assume that common sense is to read the rules, right? Ask how many of the newcomers actually read them
12.

The answer is 12.
Attaboy
Now consider only half of them decide to follow the rules or read them all to the very end. See?

At least with enough warns you automatically ban the guy for a while. If it's not enough you can ask anybody with the power to ban to have some fun ;p
i've never read the rules of the site before, and the last time i've checked this thread it just had 7 rules. go figures.
actually on most sites you can easily get away with not reading the rules if you aren't retarded and also lurk for a while
unfortunately that doesn't apply to a lot of our new memberbase

This is very much true. Since I know the rules at tSR so well I just apply them to just about every other forum I go to and I have not had a problem.
added a new 'rule'
it's more just something to point out than a rule really

also made the first post easier to read
