Well, what can I say? I'm stoked to hear that tSR is branching out into the realm of sound effects.

Thought I'd kick things off with some of my own:

Pimp. Thanks a bunch. Heart
I'm really looking forward into these Gunstar Heroes and Final Fantasy VII sounds :p

Some time a few years ago I already completed to rip FFVII(PC-Version, is there a difference?) Sounds.
(i remember... i should complete the FFVIII Rip that i began :'D)
If you want I would put them into a Thread.

Oh and... they are numbered, not named. :'D

Pretty good SEs. Smile
The biggest difference I could find between the PC Final Fantasys (FFVII and FFVIII) is the music files are in MIDI. Except for FFVIII's Eyes on Me, all the other musics are instrumental only, INCLUDING the "oh-so-awesome-mothaf*" One Winged Angel. That sucks, but the sounds are exactly the same as far I can remember. I have absolutely no idea why the PC version got such inferior bg music format, but... Good thing this isn't "the copyright-infringing BGM Resource"
More Genesis goodness for ya

Next batch will likely consist of Streets of Rage 2, Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania, and Mega Man X.
I'll shoot for next weekend on those, since I wanna finish my other sprite rips in the meantime.

To MagicMaker:
Yeah if you already got the FF VII SFX, I wouldn't mind if you went ahead and uploaded them in my place.
If you're curious though, I got mine off the PC version with Qhimm's FF7SND utility.

Treasure Land Adventure was the first Treasure game I played before realizing that it was a company name. So seeing "Treasure" on startup right before the "Treasure Land Adventure" title always baffled me as a kid, eheh. Pretty fun too despite the cutesy McDonalds motif: one of few Treasure games (I've played) where you don't need to be an Ikaruga ace to stand a fighting chance, but can still be challenging on the higher skill levels. I've yet to complete the European Expert mode, which is harder than a frozen chicken nugget

Yes, same here. So... like it matters, the result is the same, whether you upload or I.
One last batch for the time being:
Castlevania (NES) : http://www.mediafire.com/?ztz3ymlmytc
Ninja Gaiden (NES) : http://www.mediafire.com/?0emi0znmoxm
Streets of Rage 2 (GEN) : http://www.mediafire.com/?ymqnjrznjzm
ToeJam & Earl (GEN) : http://www.mediafire.com/?nyyzmmkzxmk ("Voice effects" collection)
Final Fantasy VII (PC/PSX) : http://www.mediafire.com/?o5uktt5mngd (Caution: 50MB)

I think this will do for now. Some others I may grab up in the future, but I don't wanna get ahead of myself.
Again, most of these I had in my collection already. I just needed to optimize the file sizes which I hope I did an alright job with.
All uploaded; with the exception of FF7 - it's not letting me download it...
