i believe we're heading in the right direction this time. might shorten the neck a bit so it wouldn't look longer than it should, and make those shoulders and chest wider so it would be more proportional to the arms.

I honestly prefer the bare arms rather than the newest ones. They complicate the visual interest and make it less readable, at least in my opinion.

Yeah I really wanted the hair on, even if I was aware of the readability issue (especially of his right arm) Cry
Anybody got a compromise, apart from leaving the hair on his left arm and leaving his right arm hairless? I guess I could change his arm, but that might change the feel of the sprite completely...
What if you made the hair dark green? This way you could keep the hair and avoid readability issues imo

Should I try blending the black and green for the hair?
The chest looks awful horizontal for someone who looks as though he's bending forward; try puffing it out more at an angle, as shown in the advance war character sheet.
