This is it, the 1 week voting will now initiate.

These are the top 6 entries from the last topic. The voting here will actually show who will be placing where.

Please, vote for your favorite entry.

Each person here will get a medal or trophy. It all just depends now on where you place.

I wish you all good luck.

Voting ends: July 16th
I still Vote Rakia. I consider this insanity for me because I don't plan on changing my vote ; D
Domobot again because I voted for him last time, and quite frankly, he's the only one matching the description "we need something to stand out and make our community's expression appear to be more influenced and specific to our design".
Still voted Bricklin since I think his came out best...
Sol, considering they look really nice, and you can see the faces in detail.
Bricklin.

Agreed. I say you gotta have Sol. (Geddit?)
Sol.. for those reasons said above already.

Oh you
RAKIA ALTHOUGH I SEE A STUNNING LACK OF CONTRAST AND LIGHTNESSES.

Yse.
Domobot's are square... Like pixels. That's very suiting. The rest of them look too... Shall we say "chibi anime kawaiiiiiiii" which is a huge cliche.
Square smileys just aren't original anymore, and Pixelation's set is so much nicer.
But I really like Bricklin's set.
what how the fuck do any of them look 'chibi anime kawaiiiiiiii'
I think we all need to go back to the drawing board and start making some good concepts for smilies, because, seriously, round smilies? Not really setting a statement here. If we really want to set ourselves out with sprites, we should definitely stray away from round smilies, because, seriously, round smilies are as generic as it gets. No matter how many times you resprite them, they still stay round.

At least the reasoning for our smiley choice (that of Multiverse Works) is because smiley graphics from other boards are lame when you create a custom board. Making our own wasn't really because we wanted to set ourselves apart from others, but more because we wanted to stay away from smilies others created, in case we would want to release our message board to the public to use.

Using custom smilies that are still round really doesn't justify it on a pre-made board. You might as well just use the stock graphics.
The true purpose was to get rid of the stock graphics - not to be unique. We want to have our own smilies, but that doesn't mean we have to be completely different from everyone.

You also forget, this is a competition; The winner is nominated by the members in all cases. So what you said is completely pointless.
