It actually doesn't matter. It's up to you, to be honest. ^^
You know what? Just try anyway. Anybody can join in if they want. The chances are I wont finish very soon if I do all 493+ pokemon, so I probably could do with some help

Anyway, Pikachu update

Added some Pikachu standing poses and Walking poses.

Not really fond of Pikachu's lip but w/e.

The idle is just weird. Instead of moving its entire head down, have it do something else like make its ears twitch. And move the whole tail, not just part of it. Same with the walking.
When I add more poses, Ill sort out Pikachu mouth.

But for now, I fixed the bobbing head in the idle frames, and replaced it with a twitching ear
Also, I gave Pikachu another walking pose, so it dosen't look like it jumps when his closest leg to us comes back

EDIT: just spotted a problem with the last of pikachus standing poses.
Also I edited his mouth. Tell me if its better

Here's Pikachu (with added hurt, attack and turning poses). Any good?

EDIT:By the way, any attack sprites will probably be in a seperate sprite sheet
Also, dont say that the way the sheet is laid out is copying Joshr691's sheets ,thats just how I would naturally lay it out.
[Image: pika3.gif] Move his entire ear, don't just stretch it out like that. And move the tip of the tail with the rest of it.
As for [Image: pika5.gif] I'm kinda okay with it.

Also I just played Rumble for a bit, they don't move the way you animated them. The only body part Pikachu can move is his tail and head. And bipedals sort of bounce side to side when they walk.
The annoying ear issue, well, it stretched out like that because I cant rotate it using any special features in MS paint, so I had to do it by hand, which is why it looked like it fattened out.
Also, I moved his body in the attack to make it look like it was a bit more powerful than just his head moving a bit. But I added both anyway, so you can see which is better

Is this ok for the final sheet?

EDIT: Just saw that there is no 'Credit required' in the logo, so I sorted that out
Here's the starter of the game; Ratatta!

It feels slightly awkward, but I cant figure out why.
First of all, his head is too big and the ears need to be more round in my opinion. Also, the body seems slightly too long.
And, doesn't Ratatta have a tail?
I like the Pikachu though, nice work.
Got it. Thank you Smile

Anyway, heres the (slightly!) better Rattata

Use a different palette. If they aren't the MS Vista default colors, they resemble them. A lot.
Yeah, I can see that now.

are the colours better?

If anything, that's worse. Bright =/= good, necessarily. More often than not, it's just painful on the eyes. like this.
