The skin has such awkward colors that the specular highlights make him look like he's made of plastic. There's also not that much of a metallic-feel coming from the armor, at the moment.

The way the leg is done at the moment is fantastic, though. I agree with Gorsal about the shoulder pad, but otherwise, it's looking pretty good.

Maybe add some glow/ambiance to the faceplate where his eyes are? Looking forward to updates.

a rough sketch of the first of 5 or 6 completely new character designs im gonna work on
i honestly haven't done anything completely new in months
i've done continuations of old projects, and re imaginings of older pixels
but never anything *new*

so im gonna make a handful of characters that are completely different from anything i normally do, and by that i mean characters rooted deeper in fantasy than i normally make them, this first one isn't too extreme, but my plan was to make the next 4 or 5 progressively more fantasy oriented than the next

tl;dr im doing something i actually find interesting now
