To any skeptics, Chrono Trigger DS officially confirmed by press release.

I am hella excited.

Holy crap, I wasn't expecting a remake of this.
Best RPG in entire history.
This is now a REAL reason for me to buy a DS.

The bonus dungeon needs to either be the Singing Mountain or Colosseum.

They've pretty much confirmed it's 2D. Huzzah.

If they've revamped/ edited the graphics in any way, shape or form (which, considering they're not showing any screens yet, is quite likely - if it were a straight port we'd have seen a screen with the announcement), you just know we'll be racing to rip it

Well, this will be my first time playing so you're damn right I'll be buying it

Everyone I know who played it always has good things to say about it, so I'm assuming it's great

I had not known the true feeling of sheer, utter bliss until this met my eyes.

As long as they don't mess up the music somehow, I'm sure I'm gonna love it. (heck, it's a remake, so I'd better. ) I'm curious to see what they'll do with the touch screen for this game. And multiplayer battles? That'll be interesting...

I've never played the origanal, so if this is anything like it, I think this might be a way for people like me to experience something they missed
