Return of the huge whitespace-ad.

The above, but now it's an ad for Rift.
Ok, this one's more annoying than the whitespace ad; it's got looping music (without clicking anything). If the tab with the page is not open, the music will stop after a bit, and restarts after a few minutes. If the tab is open, the music will restart immediately once it's finished.

(it says 'farmerama'/'farmeräma', but I was apparently a bit too early with the screenshot to get the full name)

This with lara croft.
the rift ad

sometimes it doesnt even have the click to skip button.
No skip button. :V
Avast is coming with a block on one of the ads saying it is a malicious URL.
As it is blocking it, I don't have any screen shot to show, but it says the url is:
uac.advertising.com/wrapper/aceUAC.js
I'm getting that too. http://i.imgur.com/QgRz7.png
I don't mean to sound like a nag, but when are the whitespace ads going? It makes it really hard for me to browse tSR either on my netbook or on my iPod, because the ads can't be closed on my iPod and they seriously slow down my netbook. :l
I'm on it.

I get the Rift ad too a lot but it's no problem for me really. If it's helping run the site I'm all for it (even if the need to "Click to skip this ad" is slightly annoying).

EDIT: Also, question Dazz, does that mean it's better for the site the more I click around (since an ad loads on every page I click pretty much)? Because I click around a lot. Tongue
Fixed the large white ads, and the virus is a mistake on Avast's behalf - if you use the latest Avast software it'll disappear, and several companies are currently trying to get Avast to fix it.
White space ad, but it's Best Buy.
Yeah, the Best Buy whitespace ad is back.
It displays once a day. If there's no skip thing, take a screenshot and send it my way.
This is a high paying ad, and we need a new server, so I'm allowing them to go temporarily. Sorry guys, but it's important.

However, there should still be a skip method.
