i realize this is more than 3 but i'd test Sick
The more people the merrier I suppose. I need to get a little more stuff in the level editor before i start letting you guys test making levels with it. I'll contact you all when I'm ready and we can have a group meeting on something like irc.
**update.

So now I'm changing a lot of sprites to get rid of a lot of the old art I did. I came up with a new style for the portraits and the concept art.
Quite a difference

Yep, that's some difference.
I like the new style!
The ear looks weird, though. Like it's too high and has the shape of a stick.
is it just me or does kid nicholas look baked
When I first thought him up, he was supposed to have a tired looking appearance, I got rid of that though waaaaay after i made that old one.

Now it's even better Big Grin
Hope we get to see more soon ;3
As you all might have guessed by reading the pinned topics, I'm taking a break from FF to work on TSRODIUS. I'll probably still work on little things here and there that come to mind, but my full attention at the moment is TSRODIUS. TSRODIUS allows me to work on a small game, but in the process really test out the stability of frostfire's engine. So never fear, FF is going to be out soon enough. You'll all just get a nice space shooter game to play while you wait.

To be fair, I'm just halting the programming work at the moment, I'll probably still do a couple of sprites here and there while working on tsrodius, so you can still check this topic for updates on that.
SO...... recently I've gotten inspired to go back to FF as my main project as of late. I read a really nice book on game/level design and I'm uber pumped to work on some levels. I'm already working on a lot of levels/animations right now, and planning out things for the first dungeon. Stay tuned for further updates.

Also on an unrelated note. I've changed the name of my dev grouo to Codestar games for a less "me" centered name since there's a possibility I might be working with other people of FF and future projects.

new update on the blog. Just letting you all know I'm not dead. :B

Yup, I'm redoing my code in another language (again...) but this time things seem to really be going along nicely!
Nice to know you're not dead, as I expect to play the game Wink
Way to bump a month old thread, champ.
it's been a month? yikes.

Well, with the bump I might as well post some progress.

I'm currently working on the gameplay mechanics and the level editor. Doing the work on the level editor because I'll be using 32x32 tiles here and there and i wanted a good way of autotiling that.

Here's some screens and wip work on the style redux I'm doing on the tiles and sprites. I would show more up to date ones but they are on my computer at work(I'm a terrible employee)
