Should I use cutscenes for NPC icons?

EDIT: I changed the boss icons from the cutscenes to their sprites.

Tongue
I thought Tonberrys were known for being slow XP
*stabs you from behind*
These will prove to be very useful. Keep up the good work.

When ripping from CD-I there are a few things to consider.
1. While the sprites themselves may be easy to rip in that they lack extended frames, the backgrounds can often interfere and they are usually rather dark-tinted.
2: CD-I emulators are incredibly rare and the only one I found, you have to pay for.
3: CD-I roms aren't as hard to find, but are still pretty difficult.
4: The control is awful.
5: Ripping from CD-I successfully automatically makes you awesome.

No... It automatically shaves eleven years off your lifespan thats what it does!
I'm just saying because ripping from Hotel Mario was the worst decision I ever made.
Most of CD-I games are crap, never heard of a good game.

Aw cra--- *dies*
I didn't have time to rip more sprites, but I ripped the pig and unnamed bug from the desert.

Tonberry2k, you said that the icon for Morshu is fine because he's an NPC. Should I use cutscenes for the icons for NPCs?
I think you should.

1. The backgrounds ruined my fisherman/blacksmith rip because his hair blends with the fish skeleton in the background. I also have to switch to Faces of Evil to rip Gohma because the backgrounds in areas with Gohma in Wand of Gamelon blend with Gohma.
2. I'm using the emulator to rip the sprites.
3. I have roms of the CD-i Nintendo games except Zelda's Adventure which doesn't work in the emulator.
4. My gamepad (Saitek PS2700) can emulate mouse movements and clicks. They designed this for FPS games that try to force the players to use Xbox 360 controllers or a keyboard, but I'm using it for CD-i emulation.
5. Thanks. I needed CD-i Zelda sprites for something that I was making, but ZeldaPower was the only site with CD-i sprites. Their rips are incomplete (missing most enemies and bosses, no attacking frames except Zelda and Link, Lupay from Faces of Evil in the Wand of Gamelon section instead of Omfak) and resized.
Looking good!
I ripped more sprites: Keese, George the Baker, Ushrom, and the Magic Cloak Lady.
Whoa! Talk about ugly ladies. Really nice rips
Agreed! And good job!
