idk, but it looks so... unnatural.
it's the eyes that creep me out. as a film technique, someone standing front view and staring straight ahead is a very intimidating and creepy thing, and I'm sure that's not what you're going for. front view is fine but the eyes could use some more life in them. perhaps looking around, blinking, maybe smaller pupils. a change in the mouth (maybe just opening it a little and then closing, as if talking or smiling) could help too...the face is just pretty jarring.

I don't know what it keeps doing to the colors, but please ignore that.
I think I fixed the body, but i'm going to start over on the head

Yeah, the head, instead of having the sides slide up and down, should actually rotate slightly from side to side. Yes, that'll mean redrawing most of the head to do it.

oh, I didn't see your post, Groove. I'll fix that later, im feeling pretty tired for today.
the hair and feet make no sense whatsoever, and you know thats a terribly lazy way to animate it.
Hmmm....now that I look at it, you're right. Do you have any suggestions on how I could make it better?
Have the hair bounce up and down or make her rock side to side.
i really did this in a hurry, but i think it should give you a few ideas on how you should work the character

It's just an idle pose for an overworld sprite facing forward. I understand the body, but the face looks odd to me. I'll definitely work on it, though

I tried using metaru's sprite as a base, but I need her facing forward for the idle. I was thinking of having the sprites work like an ml3 overworld, and maybe make an RPG out of this

you're improving pretty much everything except for the biggest and most glaring problem with it
