forgot about that thread
thanks for that
I'd like it if the search worked a bit better. Upon searching for Pac-Man sprites I get every game that has the word "Man" in it.
I remember on how once you told me that you wanted to expand the site to offer more things.

What about an anime or music subsection to the site? There are games that do have an anime to go along with them and all video games do have music so it might not be a bad idea.
Anime and Music venture into the illegal departments, and I don't want to deal with that law suit.
If anything gets expanded upon, I'd like it to be games. As in, indie and fan games. Acceptable ones. But this isn't something to consider now, as we're a spriting website. When things expand, sure. But it's something I'd like to see; especially since the website offers so many resources for games to be made upon.
If you look at submitter's profiles on the site, the sheets they've submitted seem to be in no order at all. They should be alphabetized for each section. If you check mine for example, the order is just random.

I think it's about the filenames at tSR server, but I'm not quite sure about it.

Well, for each section, sheets are grouped by game, sorted alphabetized. I guess they can also be sorted by name inside each game.
I know you guys are gonna hate me for bringing up such an unimportant thing like this, but:
With those custom Sprite tags?

"Starfox" is supposed to be Star Fox.
Just a little error checking. Only I would bother to notice something like that.

You guys can hate me now.
No one is going to hate you for pointing errors out, although errors should be reported to http://www.spriters-resource.com/communi...41&page=32
Right here's a thought. When you view a ripper's 'profile' page thingy on tSR which shows what sheets they have submitted maybe, with their permission of course, you could put the ripper's email and website link.

Will look into this.

I have a miniscule expansion to said idea, maybe allowing something like an avatar to represent a particular ripper/spriter. But that may be asking a little much.

Another thing, is there a way to view all the rippers, or view rippers alphabetically? For some reason I thought there was SOME way, but I might have dreamt that. Shocked
I'm also working on that.
Comments
on sprite sheets
on the site

I'm willing to bet that most people who browse tSR will see a sheet or two that they'll love and would want to comment that "they're using it for a Sonic vs Mario fancawmic Heart3333"
and there also might be a few people who will take a look at a sheet and notice that there's some poses or frames missing and they could comment on it there instead of registering on tSR to post a topic about it
and then you could also attach a ratings system to custom sheets, so people can rate their favorites and rate what they believe has poor quality
