Really? I thought his size was fine. It's the lines that are bothing me. Sukapon should be sleek.
Is it alright for me to continue working with my Sukapon?

You really can't make it less bulky without the lines looking jagged :I

Also, I don't see why everyone's being so nit-picky about this. The style kind of makes us need to change him a little, because it's more detailed than his original one
I was only talking about how the front the foot farthest out is a straight diagonal line, but nvm, since Ive had time to look at the sprite on a Computer, instead of a phone I had seen previously. And CBL, I think Baegal has Sukapon in his hands. Smile
I don't care about his pose but Tuna is right about updating the costume.

I mean really. I hate to be persistent about this but I can't stand the old costume and it should be an alternative option.

strongly agree

He really needs an update.
I also agree, there's no reason not to anyways. All designs for brawl were slightly altered anyways, characters like pit only vaguely resemble their original design. If anyone has any excuse to be against it, this is a fan game, and the character is god knows how old.
Since the only notable difference is the hands, he could still make that hand-shape with fingers anyway.
The primary costume should definitely not be a fan interpretation. It should be Nintendo's latest interpretation. That interpretation just happens to be the old NES era Sukapon.
except nintendo themselves didn't do that
...Huh?
with characters like pit, ice climbers, and a few others (mostly pit) they modernized the designs rather than using "the latest interpretation"
also, even if we did go with the classic version as the main costume, we definitely shouldn't do the modern version as an alt. then rather than thinking "cool, a newer design and i can use the old one" they think "cool, sukapon... aaaaand what the hell is this"
oh, and either way i'd stick to his classic stance. its kind of what makes him sukapon

Quoting for emphasis.
Well how would we modernize it?
The same way everyone else was modernized; proper stylization and new details to bring out their features.

Compare the originals to the modernized versions and you'll get what we should be doing.

And the fan redesign is a step in the right direction.
