I also have some random crappy artwork and pokemon splices, but that's all. 'Genki ^_^

That looks really good, to start with.
You will improve later on as you learn about shading and the right colors to use.
But that will take a while.

The 1st one took me 2 hours, but I could use that one as a guide so it took me much quicker to make the second. Big Grin

Also, you could make the chomp's teeth whiter. And link's hair looks a little pillowed

For a beginner these aren't bad! Congrats.

Though I think you need to look into your colors. They're bland and desaturated as is. Maybe you could find a unique color tutorial here? http://pixeljoint.com/pixels/links.asp?id=2192

i am still confused as how these are revamps. does that mean you are actually shading an existing image?(like you did with the other pokemons you posted)
