PM: TTYD Peach Assembly - A little help on two things...?
#1
Okay, everyone - I've been bit by the "assembling" bug thanks to this topic, this person, (as well as another person on another site I go to which I won't disclose) who extracted the "Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door" materials. I've managed to assemble a few Princess Peach "bases" (from this sheet) because now those are candidates for a future fangame project that's in the concept stages at this time.

Anyway, to the point; I have attached examples of a few "poses" that will be seen in the game itself (I'm quite satisfied with them myself). However, one question that's a snag to me - and it's in regards to her eyes and mouth: for the fangame project I have planned, even though Peach is planned to have the lead role, I still want her to face the player and explain certain tasks at times (it's like the "we're supporting her, yet she's supporting us approach). Is there a possible way that this can be done when I'm dealing with animations in general? Currently, what's coming to my mind right now is having her eyes and mouth looking the opposite direction as if she is talking to us.

Second, does anyone here have by any chance (or extracted) the Princess Peach icon from PM: TTYD (the "transition version", NOT the "coin version" - by "transition version", I obviously mean what's seen as we approach/leave scenes from PM: TTYD that involve her)?

Any help would be appreciated, thank in advance - and wish me luck when I tackle this project itself for real. Genki ^_^

Blast. I know what you mean by the "transition" sprites, but I lost those sprites a while ago... Still, I believe it is identical to the "coin" version, just colored.

My two cents' worth.

That's what I'm after; from the game itself - the "colored" version of it. Sorry to hear you lost them; but if someone else has a breakthrough, please let me know. Smile
