I like the tone of games.

Fallout New Vegas is probably one of my favorite games because it does factions well. It was desolate, but comforting.
XCOM and Civ have really good weighty responsibility to them.
Valkyria Chronicles has a strong band of brothers feel.
Dragon Ball games are always really upbeat power fantasies with heavy guitar riff usage.
Bastion, oh don't get me started on Bastion.
