We're Adding Depth To A 16-Bit World
#1
Exclamation
We’re not making just a RPG machinima. We’re creating a classic modern crime allegory about our past, our present, and our future.
We’re creating Post-Dollar: it’s about two comrades (one insane, the other ill-prepared) as they travel through a world plunged into chaos when the U.S. Dollar loses its status of its reserve currency.

Hi, I’m Evan Wilder and I work with E.Wil Entertainment – the online animation production company that produces high-quality animation shows for the Internet and the world. We’re talking about the professional animations that we all grew up with.

Yes, those ones.
In age of where we turn the video games that we grew up into our own television shows, why hasn’t anyone did a story about the collapse of the U.S. Dollar RPG-style yet?
Well, we are but we’re not doing this alone.

Why?
Because as a team, we want to showcase this dream-come-true as professional to our audience as possible.
We have three goals right now:
• It’s a satire of all the old-school RPGs that we’ve played and feel in love with. We love Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy but those classics committed sins that we can’t just forgive just yet.
• We want to create a kickass RPG with an engrossing story with memorable characters, unforgettable environments, and music that you will forever remember.
And the most fun one of all…
• Save some RPG gamers from being on the wrong side of the history.

Right now, we’re looking a few animators to add depth to our 16-bit animations for the machinima.
So, as a shadower, what can you expect:
• Add in shadowing elements for our character and/or background animations.
• Communicate with the animation/timing director, the storyboard artist, and both the character and the background art crew.
• Participate in creative meetings with the creative staff of showrunners, the writing staff, and the producers.
…From wherever you are!

We’re looking for shadowing animators who are:
• Love RPGs (it’s a big plus!)
• Know To Animate Very Simple RPGs.
• Punctual
• Professional
• Creative
• Cares About Their Craft

One disclaimer that we have to offer that this crowdfunding project meaning we are in the process of raising funds first. Everyone who works on this project will be compensated on an episodic basis.
