Unappreciated Movies
#16
Dragonball Evolution was still better than GT
-Street Fighter (1994): this is mostly a guilty pleasure, but I still enjoy watching this movie. Plus, in recent years it's gained the magic quality of NOT being the worst SF movie. That title is shared between SF Alpha Generations and Legend of Chun-Li.
-Super Mario Bros: sorta a guilty pleasure thing as well, but I legitimately love the poorman's Blade Runner aesthetics.
-Fifth Element: it seems to have gained a following, but nonetheless I enjoy this movie a great deal; my biggest issue with it is Chris Tucker's OBNOXIOUS character, but I still like this movie.
-Spaceballs: "Bullock, you fool! This is a classic!" Well, in comparison to Blazing Saddles, this movie falls so far behind, a good deal of people dislike it. It's definitely not as great as Blazing Saddles, but I still think Spaceballs is enjoyable in its own right.
-Conan the Barbarian: again, this is sort of a cult classic, but I love me some Conan; the action is enjoyable, it's got that perfect 80s sword-n-sorcery flair, and that musical score... *drool* (I'd link to Riddle of Steel/Riders of Doom, but I can't on my phone, so look it up on YouTube)
-Beastmaster: I got into this one thanks to The Spoony Experiment; it's in a similar 80s sword-n-sorcery vein as that of Conan. It's a bit more silly than Conan, but I find Beastmaster to honestly be a decent flick all the same. Now, the sequel...
Offending people is a necessary and healthy act... Every time you say something that's offensive to another person, you just caused a discussion. You just forced them to have to think. - Louis C.K.

I thought the Flintstones sequel was pretty bad. Mostly because the cast in the first one was perfect! Well mostly perfect. The animatronics and sets were inferior compared to the first movie too. You can tell the sequel was a much cheaper production.

The Flintstones was a love letter to the tv series.
Rock Vegas was just a cash grab.
