This is a game I've been working on for the past two months or so, trying to get it ready for the Nintendo Community Fangame Convention.
The game is based off of a Star Fox spoof webcomic/fanfic called Star Pig, by Pig-Kay. Essentially, I suppose you could call it a "liscensed" game. If, you don't take Star Fox too seriously and want to read this stuff, go to The Star Pig Site.
Anyways, it's a basic scrolling-shooter, where the player must survive to the end of the level, destroying as many enemies as possible. As you destroy enemies, you fill up a power meter; when it's full, you can unleash a special attack (the one shown next to the power meter).

This demo of the game features the whole first level and configurable controls. In order for it to work, you must unzip the game.
Also, during cutscenes and the like, you can press the "fire" button (default "X") to continue to the next paragraph, or press the "special" button (default "C") to skip to level intro.
