Poll: Who should it be?

Not only does this Horace guy come from a Gaiden Chapter, meaning you don't need to get him in order to complete the game, he's not a main character. Marth, Ike, and Roy were all the main characters of the games they appeared on.

Same goes for all Fire Emblem characters who aren't lords. Exception being main secondary characters, like Soren from PoR and Sheedna from Shadow Dragon, who'd appear as Assist Trophies.

Honestly, why are we adding another Fire Emblem character? There hasn't been an actual new game in the franchise since Radiant Dawn (Shadow Dragon was a remake). If there was, we could just add the lord from that.

Especially when we have better characters to add, such as Axe Wielding Psyenergy Adept Issac from Golden Sun, or how about the rebellious marksman Saki from Sin and Punishment? Heck, why is CAPTAIN FALCON the ONLY F-Zero character.

Fire Emblem doesn't deserve 4 characters if there isn't an obvious candidate for the position. If you really want someone new, replace Roy with Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword hero Eliwood. I would've pushed for him earlier, but he's basically a Roy clone. Heck, if you want, have Eliwood, Lyn, and Hector fight as one. Switching like Zelda and Pokemon Trainer. They'd be more deserving than Roy. There was a reason he was cut from Brawl, guys, and Ike wasn't just added to replace him.

Okay first Roy was cut from Brawl because supposedly Nintendo thought that they wanted at least one English Fire Emblem character. Also that would be horrible if Roy switched with Lyn and Hector what kinda final smash would they have? The only reason there are three poke'mon for Poke'mon Trainer is because he can use triple finish with a combo of attacks, besides like you said Lyn wasn't really a Main character in the game she was in. So I really think we should leave this up to everyone else, not just a decision based on your own ideas.

Sure, it'd be neat. But right now another fucking sword user and fucking Micaiah are in the lead.

Should we redo this poll with a "no new FE character" option? we DID kind of get screwed with the crash...
But I feel like one of the points of making a new version of the game is to add more characters.

But really, I have no problem with no 4th character, I just don't want Roy to be the 3rd...

Yes.

I agree that the one of the points of the new version is to add new characters, but I really feel there is no reason for it to be an FE character. It doesn't seem to me that anybody wants it and there were lots of other choices in the oter poll. I'm pretty sure Isaac was next in the line was he not?

I'd like Mother, but seeing Porky go would be kinda nice to give a chance to someone else.

I'm going to stick by the Mother characters. They're deeper and more unique than the Fire Emblem characters, not to mention more popular.

tbqh 6 pokemon seem a little extreme.

Getting rid of Lucario or Pichu wouldn't be a bad idea.
