I have a couple of scripts here that could be used to continue research. How the meshes are built are pretty straight forward but I can't figure out the bone hierarchy and skinning. Your sample is what I believe is an archive, but it does contain mesh information. Just cut the file until you reach the pmdl header and the script should work fine.

Hey, do you think you can get the textures from the files as well? Or are they contained somewhere else?
