General Sonic is Terrible Thread

Honestly then, here is this.

I don't expect sonic to be much more then a "lets go fast on a track" type of game. It might feel like a hallway simulator to you, but not all games should have lasted as long as sonic either.

I really do thing that Sega should focus on other IPs, but if they are really gonna push sonic, I'd rather have good hallway simulators then half hallway simulator and half wtf is even going on.

In that case then all of Sonic's Stages in Adventure and Adventure 2 (Add Shadow to A2) must be 2D, because they pretty much play out the same as Unleashed Day and The Modern Sonic Generation stages.

Actually yes. Yes they are. In fact I'm pretty sure City Escape as a level exists in Sonic Generation and Sonic Adventure. The Modern Sonic Stage kept it pretty close to the original minus the shit camera, the truck, and a few extra paths to take. The only time where Sonic Stages move away from that formula is during a boss fight, and even then thats not his stage but the end of his stage so it doesn't count as being a stage and I don't think 1/10th of a stage can be considering for his full stage to not being a 2D stage.
